Acrylic Calendar Wall Mounted Installation Instructions

Congratulations on your new acrylic calendar! These instructions will guide you through the simple process of securely mounting your calendar to the wall using the provided standoffs.

What's Included:

Before you begin, please ensure you have all the following components:

  • Acrylic Calendar

  • 4 Standoff Barrels (the main body of the standoff)

  • 4 Standoff Caps (the decorative screw heads)

  • 4 Screws (to attach the standoff barrels to the wall)

  • 4 Wall Anchors (for drywall installation)

You Will Need:

  • Pencil

  • Phillips Head Screwdriver

  • Drill with 1/4" drill bit if using the included drywall anchors

  • Level (highly recommended for straight installation)

  • Measuring Tape

Installation Steps:

Follow these steps carefully to ensure a secure and level installation:

  1. Prepare the Wall:

    • Choose the desired location for your calendar on the wall.

    • Hold the acrylic calendar against the wall in the exact position you want to mount it.

    • Using a pencil, lightly mark the center of each of the four pre-drilled holes on the calendar onto the wall.

  2. Install Standoff Barrels:

    • For Drywall:

      • Using your drill, drill a 1/4" hole at each of your pencil marks.

      • Gently tap a wall anchor into each drilled hole until it is flush with the wall surface.

      • Take one standoff barrel. Insert a screw through the smaller hole of the barrel.

      • Align the screw with a wall anchor and use your Phillips head screwdriver to screw the barrel firmly into the wall anchor until it is secure. Do not overtighten.

    • For Wood Studs (No Anchors Needed):

      • Using your drill, drill a small pilot hole at each of your pencil marks, slightly smaller than the diameter of your screws.

      • Take one standoff barrel. Insert a screw through the smaller hole of the barrel.

      • Align the screw with a pilot hole and use your Phillips head screwdriver to screw the barrel firmly into the wood stud until it is secure. Do not overtighten.

    • Repeat this step for all four standoff barrels, ensuring they are securely attached to the wall.

  3. Mount the Acrylic Calendar:

    • Carefully align the pre-drilled holes on your acrylic calendar with the installed standoff barrels. The calendar should rest flush against the barrels.

  4. Attach Standoff Caps:

    • Take one standoff cap and screw it clockwise into the threaded end of an exposed standoff barrel, passing it through the hole in the acrylic calendar.

    • Tighten each cap by hand until the calendar is held firmly against the wall. Do not overtighten, as this could damage the acrylic.

Tips for Best Results:

  • Measure Twice, Drill Once: Double-check your measurements and use a level before drilling to ensure your calendar is perfectly straight.

  • Cleanliness: Gently wipe your acrylic calendar with a soft, lint-free cloth to keep it sparkling. Never use cleaning products designed for use on windows or any abrasive cleaners.

  • Professional Help: If you are unsure about drilling into your specific wall type, consider consulting a professional.

Enjoy your new, beautifully mounted acrylic calendar!
